What IS a Good Age to Start Crate Training a Baby?

Tonight, I was talking to my recently married friend, Kate, about babies. More to the point about how we don't want one right now and that sense of relief we feel every time we find out we are indeed, not pregnant. At one point, I said, "I used to be really worried that I'd get pregnant. Now I'm just like, 'Oh well. It could just sleep in the crate with the puppy.'"

I'm not sure what was more worrisome: the fact that I was only half-kidding, or the fact that Kate didn't bat an eyelash at my statement.

I realize that I don't have any comments here on TypePad at the moment because most of my posts have just recently been transferred in from my old blog, and comments don't transfer. I mention that for two reasons. First of all, to let any random internet person know that I'm not really THAT big of a loser. I had comments once. I swear! Secondly, well... I wouldn't mind a few comments. Really. That would be perfectly fine with me.
